I traded an RCI week to go to the Boardwalk in May and I want to add the dining plan but I'm not sure who I call. Do I just call up Disney, or the DVC number, Dining?

You can try and call member services, but the member you traded with may have to change the reservation, just like they did to add your name to the reservation. Here's the only information I could find about adding the DP.

Simply add a Disney Dining Plan selection to your reservation at least 48 hours prior to your arrival check-in date. Please contact Member Services for assistance by calling (800) ********* or (407) 566-3800*.

BTW, the number might be busy due to the melt down the entire Disney computer systems has had today. There was a change that effective October 27, 2009 you can book ADR's at the 180 day mark. So everyone between 90 days and 180 days tried to call (or do it online) this morning and the system crashed. The online ADR system is still down. But some people have reported being able to get through on the Dining Line. MS was affected too because as members we can make ADR's through them.

Actually on your exchange confirmation should be the phone number to call. Or at least, that is how it worked when trading was through II.

You would call Member Services. The number will be n the documentation you receive from RCI re the trade. It's the same number you call to pay the additional fee exchangers pay Disney.

You can also arrange for Magical Express with Member Services if you plan to take advantage of that service.

Keep in mind that you must get the dining plan for very night of your exchange for every member of your party, even if you aren't arriving on the first night or staying the entire week You pay for the dining plan in full when you check in.

It's the same number you call to pay the additional fee exchangers pay Disney.
As an aside, this was recently changed. Rather than pay it in advance of arrival, you now pay the $95 at check-in.

OP: just look on your RCI confirmation; there is an 800-800-<four more digits> telephone number there. I think it is under the section titled something like "Helpful Information"

(The actual number is a Bad Word on DIS.)
