Hi! Do you collect Disney antenna toppers? If so, how many do you have, and how do you display them?

I don't really collect them - but I have a bunch of them that we rotate on our cars around each holiday they represent.

I would say we have around 30 of them and change them every month. We have five cars so there's plenty to go around.

I get several new ones every trip. I wouldn't say I display them, but I change them on my car quite frequently. To show my mood, or current holiday. I have had several stolen in past years, so I have learned to buy duplicates, or unfortunately take them off when I go to concerts or sporting events.

Currently I have about 30, but I leave for Disney soon , that number will soon grow.

To both of you: That's a lot of toppers!

I picked up a couple at the outlet store in Vegas that sells a lot of OFF Disneyland souvenirs - I got a Tinkerbell wearing a santa hat, and a big blocky "08" where the numbers are wearing Mickey/Minnie clothes.

If someone would like them I'm sure I can swing the $0.50 to mail them your way just PM me.

Life is good!

Well I don't have as many as you guy's, but let's see I have~ a Black Mickey Mouse one on my car right now, a Minnie Mouse one, a Stitch one, a Mickey Mouse one wearing a hat and another Black Mickey Mouse one that says Disney World on it! I think that's all I have right now.

I have the new Cinderella coach on my car. It was new in April! I figure, I cart around my Princesses so it was appropriate!princess:princess:
I also have the Mickey Rudolph and I had a Minnie Mouse that disappeared one day. I plan on getting some more next time I go to Disney. Of course, that's about 17 months away:(

I have 44 but they are only Mickey heads. Not even Minnie, just Mickey done up in different ways, holidays, colors, etc...
I bought a piece of 2" X 1/2" x 6 ft and drilled holes into it. I then put dowels of various lengths into the long piece of wood and glued them in. I put all my Mickey heads on the dowels.
I have the board on top of my double doors in my dining room. If I knew how to post photos I would, but I am computer illiterate. I could send you an email with the photo if you want to see it, but I have tried numerous times to post photos with no luck.

I was able to find a taker for the toppers I got at the Vegas outlet, hurray. My first opportunity to help other another DISboard member yay.

Hi! I just private messaged you - I'd be thrilled if you could email me a picture of your creation and collection!

That sounds awesome!

My sister purchased a thread spool holder from a fabric store to display hers on. Sounds like the same set up as Mickey527, but it has 5 different tiers...I'll try to take a picture to post

My DP collects them. To display them, we cut dowels in varying lengths and put them into vases as topper bouquets around the house. We had a hand blown Mickey Mouse vase made on Main Street last year, and that holds the special toppers.

I just always ask for extra chopsticks when I have Chinese. I put them back throughout the year and after I've made my yearly trip, I use them to mount the toppers to make an arrangement in a vase. They work really well and they are free!

My Mickey antenna toppers (that is all I collect) are in a large clear vase that I picked up very inexpensively at IKEA.

Well I don't have a collection but I love the Pirate Mickey on my car right now. I notoriously forget where I park and that little topper has saved me more times than I can count.

We just got back a couple of weeks ago and I'm very excited about the antenna topper I got this time! It is a globe with mickey ears. I work with international students so this is perfect for me!!! I got it at Rafiki's Planet Watch and I didn't see it anywhere else our whole trip. Whew - I'm glad I picked it up when I saw it. :)

I guess you could say I collect the toppers. I try to buy whatever's new each time I visit the parks. I like to put them on bamboo skewers and stick them in my potted plants. I have all the World Showcase ones stuck into my African violet, with the different countries in order as they are around the lagoon (hopefully, in order, I should say)

Topper collector here!!

I think I have about 400......DH makes me stands. Wood in various sizes for the bases. He found antennas somewhere and mounts them on the wood....from 5-15 each.
I had them sitting on my end tables, DVD holders and entertainment center.
Took them down when we put the house up for sale and they are in boxes at the new AZ house. Not sure where I will put them there,

I  Mickey antenna balls!

I started "collecting" them in 2001 and was SO disappointed when the local Disney store stopped selling them. It seems that more and more cars are made now without external antennas! Well, on our trip to WDW in June, I picked up several more including my new favorite, Mickey Ice Cream Bar.

I've got a large gift bag full in the closet but now it's great to have ideas on how to display them indoors!

Another collector here :)
I also have several hundred, though actually use about a dozen actively. I don't display them.... I just have them! I add new ones every chance I get. Unfortunately they are getting harder and harder to find new ones.

I have a Disneyalnd cast member exclusive from holiday 2004 if anyone is interested.

I also have a mickey bride topper and a mickey groom topper.
