Right there with you ... we purchased two online last week for pickup during our Dec trip!
Edited to add: But we are still thrilled that DVC will be offering the discount. The dates may not have worked for us this time ... but we'll hope to take advantage in the future on a renewal!
Ahhh...this is one time when my procrastination has ACTUALLY paid off...I meant to buy them for our upcoming Dec. trip...and just never got around to it. How often does THAT happen (that you get lucky for NOT planning)? I just wish I could get it in Dec!! But...hey...I'm really just happy to get it!!!
I know it is about the money (in some way)...but, I really just like the fact that I feel a little bit more "loved" by the mouse!! I am SUCH a sucker....make me feel more loved...and, I feel an add-on coming on!!!!
To all those that have already purchased their AP voucher:
Hold on to them. I'm sure that by 2042 (or 2054), inflation will have caught up and you'll come out even. Or better yet, if they ever take away our new perk, you could come out ahead since they stay valid until activated. LOL
Seriously though, you have my sympathy.
I guess I must be a freak of nature or something because I've never had a problem with the TP at WDW. I've never thought of myself as a very sensitive persom, but I didn't think it applied to my butt as well as my emotions.
As for the AP perk, mine expire on 11-29-04. We arrive at WDW 12-4-04. Bummer !!
you can either bring your own toilet paper - or go buy some at the local store...
I love the AP's - I have waited and hoped - my problem I will be there this trip for 2 weeks - I was thinking about buying an AP - so glad I didn't....
I always, always kept PH or PHP
I certainly want it a discount - back in 95 when DVC started to offer the ticket discount on LOS (UPH) to those DVC member who didn't have the free passes - many of us were asking then for a annual pass discount then.
the answer was always "NO"
I am so happy that the answer is finally "YES"
although I really think I would have preferred a percentage instead of a flat amount.
