Who can tell me about Nintendo Game Cubes?

Instead of a goat cart you could get him a racing one. We have Gran Thurismo 3 Aspec and its nice....

What about the new tony hawk american wasteland game?

A Gamecube is more suited for younger kids.

I have to disagree with this. I'm 25 years old and would choose Gamecube over PS2 and XBox any day. Mario Kart, Wario Ware, Donkey Konga, Monkey Ball 1 and 2 (no longer an exclusive, but was at first), Zelda: Wind Waker, and Metroid Prime 1 and 2 are just several of the games I love on the system and can be enjoyed by all.

About Mario Kart: Double Dash, I don't think Nintendo ever lowered the price of this game so unless you can find a used copy, expect to pay $50. Even a used copy would only be about $5-10 less. It is a great game though.

Don't know if this game has been mentioned yet or not, but check out Animal Crossing! I have seen it at both Best Buy and Target for $19.99! It comes with the memory card that is needed to save data as well.

I'm sure there are some Game Cube experts out there who can help me! :cool1:

My kids have gameboys and we are considering getting them a gamecube for Christmas. Am I correct to think you can use this console to play their gameboys Advanced SP games? What other games will work...any gameboy game? Are there games made specially for the gamecube? How much are these are where should I buy one? I did a search on Amazon and the price seemed to be aroudn $100. Do these come with one set of controls for one player, or two? If only one, can I buy a second control set?

Sorry so many questions! DS wanted a go-cart but I don't think Santa is going to manage to bring that one, so this seems like the way to go. We've never had a video game system and only got the gameboys in the last 18 months. They go thru spurts using these which is fine with me. We're more of an outdoor group anyway. Thanks so much for any help you can give!

My kids got the gamecube 3 years ago, and they don't use it anymore, but I do remember something about them conecting the gameboys to the gamecube. It came with 2 controls and a game, they got severla games, like Mario, so many Marios, Mario Party, Donkey something, can't remember!
Ahh and yes, the Animal Crossing was their favorite, the kids and DH played all the time, they got a house and make money fishing and it was lots of fun.

You also Might want to consider getting both kids their own memory card. It can get kind of confusing if they both save on one card...

That's a Great gift! Go Mom!! :sunny: I'm 26 and have all the systems. I love them all equally but in different ways. :goodvibes
