Is there an age limit on children living at the same address as the DVC member getting the discount? What about their spouses? :confused3

IMHO, our Disboard members know more than the MS reps, but if I have to, I'll make that call, although the chances of getting a correct answer there seem to be so much smaller than from here. :rotfl:

From the member website:

Disney Vacation Club Members receive a discount on the Pass for themselves and their immediate family residing in the same household only. At the time of purchase or redemption, your Disney Vacation Club Member ID Card must be provided and ALL ADULTS must present a valid driver's license or state identification card showing they reside in the same household.

Who is defined as "immediate family"?
"Immediate family" is defined by Walt Disney World Resort for discount purposes as noted below: Spouse/Registered Domestic Partner, Parent/Step Parent, Mother-In-Law/Father-In-Law, Child/Step Child, Brother/Stepbrother, Sister/Stepsister, Brother-In-Law/Sister-In-Law, Grandparent, and Grandchild.

I guess I must have missed it on the site, but thank you for furnishing the answer.
If I read it correctly, my daughter can get the discount, but her husband can't, even though they both have my address. :confused3
Oh well, any money saved is a good thing! :thumbsup2

Since they are including father-in-law, brother-in-law, I would ask if they would include son-in-law.

We'll all be there in a couple of weeks, so I think I'll ask in person. It would make sense to include an SIL, but......................:rolleyes1

:lmao:

(They have 7-day PHs from UT, so we'll ask sometime during their stay)

Seriously why is brother in law and sister in law included. :confused3 over son in law

When I bought my Sister in laws AP with a DVC discount, they never even asked how she was related to me. They just checked her ID to see that she lived at our address. My guess is that they will allow it.

All three of our daughters are on the contract...but only one lives at the "home" address. Will those two daughters be eligible for the DVC annual pass?

What do you mean by "on the contract"? Are they owners or associates? If they are owners, then they have their own Blue DVC Member ID cards with their names on them, so they will be fine.

If they are "associates" then they are not considered to be members and are subject to the immediate family living at the members' address rule.

According to the MS rep I spoke with (I called on a different matter, but asked anyway ), as long as the address was the same, my SIL IS eligible for the DVC AP discount! :cheer2:

We're just in the process of purchaingna resale. There will be five names on the deed, in joint tenancy. So, would they be associates or members?
