Who can answer this?

hope someone can help. We are flying into orlando at 10am--we will probably get to coronado springs (where we are staying) around 11:30 or so. The thing is, check in isn't until 3. I know that the front desk will keep you luggage until your room is ready and you can leave, but I'm concerned about where we will put our carryons since we don't want to lug them around the park. has anyone been able to check in early? should i give the hotel a heads up to let them know we will be in before check in time and see if they can accomdate us?

Hi,

You can store your carryons when you check in and then come back to get them when you return to the hotel after touring.

There is always a chance your room will be ready early, but don't count on it.

They will hold your carryons for you, too.

The hotel will store your carryons along with your regular luggage, if you like. They don't care what you carried on the airplane and what was checked luggage. We do like to take care to secure any valuables. For example, if you brought a laptop, you'll want to feel as though it is comfortably secured.

You might even have the front desk to sign off on a list of the items that are being left with them.

I have checked in (without a room being ready) as early as 8:00AM. You don't have to let them know that you're checking in early. When you check in early, they will give you a number to call to check on the readiness of your room.

When are you going to CSR? We will be there 8/3-9th.. and have to do the same thing probably. Our flight gets in at 1pm.. Maybe we are going to be there the same time. Did you request any type of specific room?

I arrived at MCO at 10:32am and arrived at CSR at 11:15am, fully expecting to check my bags with the bellman and head out.

Much to my delight, my room was ready.

I wouldn't count on that.. but it can happen.

We have stayed at CSR twice, and received our room at 9AM both times. The less room requests you have, the better chance of getting a room early. You can always ask at the desk if they have any rooms available at that time.

Our plane lands in Orlando at 8:00 AM on July 26th, so we will most likely be leaving our carry-ons with CSR bell services, as well.
