Mods, if this is in the wrong section, pls move it, I didn't know where to post it.

Ok, here's my dilemma, I just got a Snuggie blanket today, and I leave in just over two weeks for my next Disney vacation (WOOHOO), and have been trying to fit it in my laptop backpack (carry on), and leave room for my actual laptop and other things, but it looks so bulky no matter what I do to condense it. I would pack it in the suitcase, but would like it for my flight in case it gets chilly, but I don't even know if I should bother with it at all.

Here's the question, who all brings theirs with them in their carry on AND still finds room for laptop (those of you that take a laptop with you)? Any suggestions on how to roll it up/fold it so it fits and the back pack has room for other stuff as well?

Thanks!

Jules

:rotfl:I would freeze into a solid block of ice before I would use a Snuggie on a plane - even as a lap blanket. There are certain things one does in the privacy of one's home, and wearing a Snuggie is one of those things.:rotfl:

You've got a point there DVCLiz, I decided to take it out of the backpack after realizing if I do take it out on the flight, how would I fit it back in, lol!

I always freeze on planes, and although I don't have a snuggie, I think I would consider bringing it if I did.

You don't have to put your snuggie/jacket/whatever in your carry-on. Jackets don't count! You can just carry it over your arm, like a coat. Put it through the x-ray machine just like it was a winter coat. On the plane, you can wrap up in it, and then put it back over your arm like a coat when you deplane. As a bonus, you will have it to keep you warm in your hotel. :goodvibes

And yeah, I know snuggies make you look like a cross between a monk and a nursing home patient, but I am approaching the age were comfort trumps fashion. :lmao:

I think it would be more trouble then it is worth to try to bring one of these on an airplane. I just bring a cardigan or sweatshirt if needed.
