I remember a few months ago, we had a thread, as we always do. This one was all about you. What made you, "you." With more people joining, I think it's a good idea to start it again. So, who are you? Don't be afraid to sound conceited. If it's true, we'll believe you. And, let's keep this clean.

I think I wouldn't be "me" without the troubles I've gone through in the past. Now don't get me wrong, those things don't make "me" but I just wouldn't be the same.

I think what make me, "me", is passion to stop child abuse. I know, it's cliche, but...

I mean you guys have heard me go on and on about it...

I'm Jaimie. I'm 14 years old, and was born on November 4th. I'm of average height, and probably a tinge skinnier than what I should be. I have dirty blonde, shoulder length hair and blue green eyes that change with my mood. They turn grey when I'm angry.

My family and friends are my life. They support me through the good times and the bad times. I support them. It's a cycle. Without them, I'd be nowhere, and without me, I think they'd be different. (Obviously.) I've been told that I give really good advice. I now accept this comment, even though I do think the advice I give could probably be better. I'd rather give someone a hug. I'm always willing to listen to anyone's problems, though.

Music is my passion. I've been playing the piano for almost 8 years, and the clarinet for almost 5. I'm first chair clarinet in the band, and I have a feeling the other kids in my band hate me because they think I 'show off' when I play the piano. My singing is so-so. I'm not in a chorus, or take lessons. I've had people tell me that I'm good, and others tell me to shut my mouth. I know my singing limits, but I'm constantly singing or humming the song that's currently stuck in my head. I also listen to all types of music, excluding most rap songs. I can't stand them. I'm open for suggestions on what to listen to.

I'm graduating 8 grade in about a month. That scares me. Over the past few months, I've gone through some pretty major changes. During this time, with the help of my friends, I was able to find myself. I went from an insecure perfectionist to a semi carefree, dance through life kind of girl. That does not mean that I slack off on things. I don't.

I find it important to maintain my awesome grades. I'm going to a different high school than almost every single kid in my school. The school is very vigorous. I spent nearly half my school year worrying about getting accepted to this school of my dreams. The work that I do is done carefully and precisely as possible.

I'm also VERY obsessive compulsive. My language arts teacher and my friends diagnosed me with OCD after I reorganized the dictionaries in my class. I obsess (and worry) over everything and anything. This includes: Disney. Potc. Star Wars. Harry Potter. Ducks. The Solar System. Basically anything else I'm not willing to mention.

That's a lot, and pretty much sums me up in a nutshell.

Okay, I'll add more detail Jaimie.

My name is Jenny. I'm pretty short and my hair is shoulder length and light blonde. I wear contacts, but I'm terribly scared of having my eye poked. My eye's a gray/blue it just depends on how the light is.

I volunteer at DCFS every Tuesday and Thursday, it's where my mom works. I do things like file, return mail, check on the status of different cases. And everyday I see different abused children, it really takes a toll on your personality.

Two years ago I was diagnosed with anorexia nervosa, it was a really hard time in my life. It changed me as a person. With the help of my friends, family, therapists, and doctors I got over that battle. I vowed that I'd never go down that path again. But I did, kind of, recently I started having those feelings and things again. I started eating less. But my friends, my friends they really helped me through that. And I got over it.

I've had a major personality change. I went from an insecure popular volleyball player, to a young woman with more self-worth. I've become more outspoken. And the things that really mean a lot to me have came out.

I most likely have mild OCD, I'm always in my mom's office re-arranging her collection of piggies. Moving her posters around. Lining up her stuffed animals, and ceramics presicely. It really is kind weird but...ya know it's me.

I really hate it when people have bad grammar, it's just really irks me.

My obsession for Disney has recently sort of overcome my life. I've been re-decorating my room in Disney stuff. Planning out our upcoming trip all the time.

I'm homeschooled since March. Public School was not working for me, it was kind of holding me back. Now I have almost perfect grades and I'm moving through the material really fast.

I'm a lot happier now.

I know it's long but I'm a kind of complicated person. So yeah there is a TON more about me but that would take up a couple thread pages.

Hockey is my life. I'm on the Travel team for Amherst. I have a lot of friends that do hockey. My little sister just started from influence by me, my brother,My dad and The sabres.

The Sabres are EVERYWHERE in buffalo. Anywhere you look you will see Sabres flags,sabres bumper stickers,sabres hats,sabres shirts etc.. They are doing very well now(knock on wood)
