Who all likes Cats here ?

I've always had cats and I just adore them. I only have one right now but hopefully we'll be able to correct that when life settles down a bit.

Another cat lover here ! For me, a house doesn't feel like a home without a cat. I love them all ! (I'm an animal lover, but cats definitely are my favorite). :paw:

we have 3 cats. 2 that chose us and one that was born here. black--PB(pushy and bossy), fire/ice siamese--Tommie; orange--Mr. Jingles as he has a collar w/a bell. Tommie and Mr. Jingles chose us. Mr. Jingles is the youngest of the 3. we also have 2 absolutely fabulous dogs--Rocky, a border collie who was rescued and our step dog Missygirl, a beagle. :earboy2:

I couldn't get through a day without love from my two kitties, Mishka (means Baby Mouse in Russian) and Linus ('cause he has a favorite blankie he drags around with him). I also have a bunch of pet rats!! Surprisingly, the cats don't mind them at all...

I was a vegan for 9 years; I'm now a vegetarian.

I have 5 cats. Tiger, Chipper, Sylvester, Checkers & Tiny. (by the way Tiny is huge) :rotfl2:

I love kitties too! I have Honey (see below) and in about two weeks, a new kitty will be joining our family, he's about a year old, solid grey with some white patches. I hope they get along and become buddies!

I love cats but also like dogs. We had one that passed away at 14 1/2 years
and took in a stray two ywars ago. Now I have two more both of which had been left on their own. One was injured, filthy and had been a street survivor for a long time, the other is about six months and the owners sold thier home and left him here on his own. I have strong feelings about people who abandon or abuse their animals! Enough said.

He he Tiny is huge that kinda reminds me of me. I call myself ShylittleKitten and little Flower and I am a 6 foot 3 male who can't even sit in the back seat of most cars without having his head touch the roof lol

i totally and completely love cats.........
i celebrate their birthdays in a big way, even decorate the room for them.

when i am away from them for vacation, i call them and leave messages on the answering machine. my sons will also play prerecorded messages for me to the cats so they can hear my voice.

right now i only have one cat with us. she is 11 years old and diabetic.
she had a stroke last thursday......very sad as she can't move her hind quarters well at all. i carry her to the litter box to help her out. with the fantastic vet i use and medicine, she will improve.

the other cat has just left us. my son moved out 2 weeks ago and had the nerve to take kyla with him...........think i miss that cat more than the son.
he found kyla at a rest stop in wisconsin. she was abused and abanded. her whiskers were singed off and her paws were burned, no hair on one ear. also, she has no voice, not even a little meow.

i took her to the vet and they believed she was about 5 weeks old. i have kept her while my son was in college for the last 3 years. she is like my own pet.

i really need to add to my cat family. one is not enough for us

I better like them, I have six and an adopted one from outside.
He showed up at our house about 1 1/2 years ago and we have been taking care of him ever since. Our 6 are indoor cats only, and the stray likes to come and go as he pleases.

I will be losing one within the next month or so. My kitty Daisy has cancer and has lost 4 lbs in a few months. It is really getting the best of her.
Luckily, I work for a veterinarian and I can take her in whenever needed.
We just had bloodwork and xrays done. I knew deep down, it was cancer.
We had a lump taken off in March.
She replaced my first real pet cat 13 years ago.
It's so sad to see her wasting away.

Give your kitties a hug for me.
I will still have 5 in and 1 cat out, but no one will replace Daisy.

let me tell you I love and adore all animals. You are talking to someone who has taken lizard's outside so they would not get hurt and someone who has saved bugs :)

Yep, that's me!

Cats:
Doc - 15 1/2 years old (DD named her Doc, because DD liked Bugs Bunny and wanted to be able to say, "What's up Doc?")

Midnight
(kitten found at a softball field - very hungry), Stormy (tiny kitten found in the parking lot of the post office during a storm - he kept running up to people as they came close to him and mewing/they just ignored him), and Bobbie (kitten DD and DH found on a trail ride and brought her home on horseback - she didn't care for riding horses, so it was kind of a long trip!) - 5 1/2 years old (You've heard of 3 Dog Night? They were our 3 Cat Summer!)

Boots and 5 kittens - Comet, Diamond, Xerxes, Elmo, & Star born after her arrival - came 3 years ago (showed up at our barn and stayed)

Scooter - 2 year old handicapped Siamese - congenital deformity/back feet twisted but gets around great (found at someone else's barn - almost black because he couldn't scratch his fleas with his back feet - Frontline solved his problem)

Jackson - 1 1/2 years old (kitten found in a hotel parking lot in Jackson, MS while attending a horse show - local animal protection agency said she would probably be put to sleep in a couple of days, so she made the long trip home with us - and did quite well)

Also, have 4 dogs who were also abandoned pets, 5 horses (one of which was rescued from being sent to a slaughter auction), and a bottle raised goat.

Love 'em. Millie is the spotted perfect ladycat, and DammitRocko celebrated his 1st birthday on Saturday.

Mallcat, Is your cat a Bengal? We have 3 cats and one is a Bengal. A friend paid alot of money for him but he was going blind so we took him. He is the sweetest cat we have ever had.

P.S. He is 5 yrs old now and have never lost his sight.

I love cats!! we have a black cat named Midnight.. He was a stray kitty from our last house.. my daughter fed him and he never left.. that was about 3 1/2 yrs ago.. he came with us to our new home when we moved about 1 1/2 yrs ago and is still here.. he is the sweetest thing.. He was so skinny when he found us but you'd never know that now..

I do like dogs... my doggie is Mathew and I wouldnt trade him for the world, but Ive always loved cats ..
