Who all is from NC?

Mocksville! (halfway between Statesville and Winston-Salem). Gas is $2.99 here and I have yet to see any gouging from Charlotte to Statesville, Advance, Clemmons, W-S or anywhere else. It's all just rumors.

The price gouging isn't a a rumor here. There is one station charing $2.99. Less than 1/2 mile away, there are three stations charging $3.49. Even the station that's usually the cheapest is charging $3.29.

I've decided that I will continue to buy my gas at the $2.99 station, even if my regular one's price does go back down to being the lowest.

We have the same price spread right down the road in China Grove. I don't think it's gouging; it's what their distributors tell them to charge. Before all this happened, the same gas stations had the same type of spread.

We don't live in NC but my husband is from Forest City, NC (about 90 mins SW of Charlotte, close to Shelby). He still considers it "home". His sister and family still live there and we visit often (well, during football season anyway Will be there in 12 days for the Panthers game against the Patriots.
