Whitewater Snacks - Menu & Price Changes

FYI ...

French Dip no longer on the menu.

'Famous' Nachos got a price increase to just about $10.

New items as well, clearly for new DVC units. Frozen pizzas, Stouffer's frozen mac & cheese (family size), loafs of bread, deli meats & more.

We've been here all week and the French Dip was my favorite item - went back for one, came to find that it disappeared overnight!!!

Grilled Chicken sandwich is still on the menu, although, may have got a price increase - I'm not sure.

Ok, well a price increase is better than not having it. It is the only sandwhich with guacamole on it. At $8 it was a great dea!

Wish I had known to try it. We always got nachos or chicken sand. I would have tried the french dip if I had known. Maybe it is better I don't know what I'm missing.

OH NO! I just had this last week, so am glad I did My friend had the nachos and they were a great value..I guess 10.00 isn't so bad. When I was there they had only added items like 1/2 gallons of milk and orange juice. Have they added more cooler units or are they getting rid of some stuff for the DVC grocery items?

Thank you for the update. WWS is one of our favorite places to grab a quick and cheap bite while at DL so I am looking forward to checking out the changes to see what else may be gone and what else may have gone up in price when we are there in 2 weeks and 6 days.

I don't know, maybe I got a bad one. It was okay but not something I would order again. The best french dip sandwich I've had is at the Elephant Bar. I would be sad if that one disappeared. Sorry to be disagreeable but just had to add my 2 cents.

I have to say after all the raving about the nachos we ordered it and it was basically some chips, some strips of meat and a sprinkling of shredded cheese which was not the least bit melted. We were like this is it!!

The next time we went I thought lets try it again and see if they make it any better. It was fabulous! Lots of creamy nacho cheese sauce not the shredded. And sour cream and guacamole! This has been one of the things I have to get everytime we go. It's huge! dh and I share and sometimes we can't even finish it.

The first time it wasn't made right or they ran out of ingredients or something. Everything else we've ever bought from Whitewater snacks has been top notch.

Glad to hear they haven't discontinued the nachos! I would be so sad.

Where is the Elephant bar?

It's a chain so there are ones in various cities. Here's the link to their locations: http://www.elephantbar.com/locations.asp . I see there's one in Albuquerque. Not sure if that's anywhere near you but that's the only one in NM. Most of them are in California but there are some in Arizona, Colorado and a few other places. It doesn't look like there is one right there by DLR but there are some not too far away. The closest ones are in La Mirada and Irvine. As long as I'm completely off topic talking about the Elephant Bar, I will add that their chicken Marsala is really yummy too.
