I Lurked for a while and found most if not all of my answers to my questions over the past months, except one!
Its kind of odd, but do the lights dim in the Whitehall room, or are we going to be better off looking at a Ballroom? Im lookng for a more romantic candlelit look and if we cant dim the lights then we may have to move reception venues.

but I can tell you The Whitehall lights DO dim to a very romantic level.
