Hi,
We are fortunate to have fresh Lake Superior Whitefish easily available here. It is great.
I have a marinade that I use.
1 pound whitefish fillet
1/2 cup Italian dressing
1/4 cup water
2 Tablespoon orange juice
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
Cut fish into serving-size pieces and lay in a shallow acid proof dish.
Combine marinade ingredients and pour mixture over the fish.
Cover and marinate for 1 hr, turning once.
Remove fish and place on oiled broiler pan. Broil 4 inches from heat for 4 to 6 minutes for each side, until fish flakes easily.
I brush the fish with melted butter and some lemon juice before broiling.
You can use some of the marinade also.
