Well looks like along with the demise of the Disney Club also comes the White Glove Treatment for American Express Card Holders. Looks like Disney is getting rid of this in place of their own card as well.

An article was in the DVC Vacation magazine that arrived today stating that the White Glove Treatment ends December 31 2002. I really have no problem with this but they still have not rolled anything out on this new Visa card that they are planning on offering.

No problem I guess I still get the 10% discount for being an Annual Passholder, unless that is next to go!

Yeh, but you'll no longer get the nice discount on purchasing your AP's!! I'm less than happy about the price of the AP's, daily passes or hopper passes!! No wonder I haven't set our next vacation dates!

In a seperate, yet related agreement, not only will Disney have a "Disney Visa" but VISA will replace AmEx as the "Official Charge Card". These agreements come and go, remember Eastern, then Delta were the "Official Airline". Global used to be the "Official" movers, etc. If Pepsi were to give Disney a more lucrative contract, they could replace "Coke" as the "Official soft drink". Don't blame Disney because Visa gave them a bigger deal than AmEx.

Well, I don't think that we're going to see Pepsi replacing Coke as the official soft drink any time in the near future. In fact, look for Dasani (Coke product) to soon become the official bottled water, replacing Zephyrhills!

;)

That happened in October.

I don't think that is going to happen, either...but there is ALWAYS the possibility...the point I was making was that these contracts DO change, depending on the financial incentives a company is willing to give to Disney.

BTW, I think Zephyrhills tasted better than Dansani - but was not surprised by the change.
