If you pay for the hotel in Disney with an American Express card do they give any gifts out like fanny packs etc. ?

We stayed at AKL in August and paid with American Express. At that time we were given an Amex Lanyard and 2 pins. The year before we got the fanny packs with the Amex Logo. The CM at check in told us that the American Express White Glove Treatment would be ending December 2002. I don't know what others have heard since.

Disney's agreement with Amex ends 12/31/02. Beginning 01/01/03, BankOne Visa will have an agreement with Disney. So far, there haven't been any details available on either Disney's or BankOne's web site.

Oh poo...I just got an Amex card with the purposes of using it on our Disney trip. I was looking forward to the Hoop Dee Doo discount and DD discounts....

I called today and was told they are not giving out anything for using the AE card. She said if you show the card at check in you get a discount book as to where you get discounts aroung the world. I just got the card for the sole purpose of using it in Disney. Oh well.......
