Hi,

Does anyone know if there is a replacement for the white glove treatment AMEX used to sponsor at the check in desks?

Some years ago it was fanny packs and recently lanyards and pins.

The new Disney Visa has taken ove as the official card of Walt Disney and I was wondering if there were any perks other than points.

Thanks

They do have perks other than points, but they are periodic offers listed on their website. You have to register your card to get into the website. Right now at WDW they are offering a discount on room packages from 8/24 until 10/1 (not room only) and a golf discount. They also have other discount categories - Disneyland, Entertainment, Merchandise, Other Vacations. None of these categories currently include WDW.

1) As a marketing agreement with WDW, I am sure VISA is good.
2) For the public, it is a far cry from Disney Club or Whote Glove.
3) There are benefits
4) however, there is no actual continuing discount program.

IMHO -
"Can you spell rip-off?"
(when compared to previous discount programs)

I used my Disney Visa for my June trip this year, no mention at check-in or anywhere else. I was a little disappointed, with the AMEX, they made you feel special.

Thanks everyone. I'm going this week I'll let you know if I get any warm fuzzies...or if I too will be disappointed.
