Whispering Caynon

I was wondering if anyone was able to get an appetizer and the skillet at whispering caynon on the DDP? Or the salad with the skillet counted as the appetizer.

When we ate there last year and the year before, the salad was considered the appy.

Your suppose to get the salad as your app. with skillet. But our waiter was CLUELESS he let the people at our table get actual apps. instead.

We ate there twice on our last holiday and the Skillet comes with the salad as an appetizer.

When we ate there, my husband got the skillet, and salad was definitely his only choice. But I ordered the nachos and that was really enough for the whole table.

We were just there last Thursday. The salad is the appetizer if you get the skillet.

We ate at WCC on Tuesday and no we were not allowed an appetizer with the skillet, we ate at lunch so we did not get a salad and they brought out the coleslaw and the cornbread when they would normally bring out and appetizer. We had an enjoyable meal. Definitly did not miss the appy, a ton of food!

Thanks for the info. We have ressie here for this weekend and the skillet sounds like the way to go.
