whispering canyonn or teppan edo?

I have 2 DD's ages 5 and 2. We have never been to either place. Which one would you choose and why? TIA

How is your 2 year old at sitting for a meal.. Teppan Edo takes much longer for a meal than WCC from what I have been told. We are trying Teppan Edo for the first time in exactly one week!! Very excited but my daughter is 13. We have done WCC and love it there as it is fun for all. Have never had a bad meal there and usually order the skillet for an all you can eat meal....

Have not done WCC....

But Teppan Yaki - and now Teppan Edo....is a Family Tradition so we've done it for years upon years...

MY DS17 will tell me that it is the highlight of his whole trip....

albeit ...it doesn't seem to me to be so much different from the hibachi you might go to in your city....

But we enjoy the cool atmosphere...the good food...the show...

it's wonderful...

Food wise Teppan Edo is better. Your kids might enjoy Whispering Canyon more for all the antics. You need to decide which is a higher priority for the meal.

Based on your children's ages, I vote for Whispering Canyon. Save Teppan Edo until they get a little older.

I love Teppen Edo! They make kid friendly chop sticks with a rubber band (I think it was a rubber band). But I've never been to WCC so I'm not very helpful!

My favorite is Teppon Edo, but with the ages of your kids I would go to Whispering Canyon.

Both are good, and provide different forms of entertainment. I think the food at Teppan Edo is better.

Has your 2 year old ever been to a hibachi restaurant before? We took our 2yr old to a local hibachi and he hated it, he screamed and cried though most of the dinner. He didn't like all the fire and banging on the table.

The food is much, much better at Teppan Edo. Whispering Canyon is on our "won't go out of our way to return to" list. We'd eat there again if we happened to stay at Wilderness Lodge but the food was definitely so-so. Lots of kids did seem amused by some of the antics going on though.
