I've seen lots of posts about the goings on at WC and it looks like loads of fun. Do you know if they do all this at lunch too or mainly dinner? I'd like to try it sometime.

It is done at lunch, somewhat less at breakfast.

Thanks for the reply! We have all our dinners planned all ready so I think I'd like to try it for lunch. There's nothing that could be funnier than embarrassing my 16 year old. He asks for ketchup on everything!!

Hi we ate there for dinner in April w/ our 16 yr old DD's. It was so much fun seeing them get picked on!

Make your DS wear a universal t-shirt
Have him ask for ketchup
Have him ask for a straw

Thanks for the tips. Anyone else? I can't wait to see the reactions. I'm not going to mention to him what the "theme" of the restaurant is!:hyper:

Ask your server for a LARGE drink (anything will do). Make sure he emphasizes the word "large" -- tell him the server may not have heard him, so he'll repeat it. (The server will get the idea!)

I've seen some incredible containers used to bring a "large" drink to the table, along with a nearly 2-foot long straw! One glass looked to be nearly a 1/2 gallon! It is hilarious. Even funnier ... my DW asked for a large water. Our server brought her a glass barely the size of a shot glass along with this 2-foot bright RED straw sticking out of it. I nearly fell off my chair laughing!

Other things that might get your server going:

Ask where you can buy gum at WDW
Ask for directions to the restrooms
Ask for directions to Universal Studios
Ask where your server's six-shooter (not G-U-N) is

These are not guaranteed to work everytime -- but if you get the right server, it can be very funny.

If you've got kids, ask one of the kids to stand on his/her chair and shout as loud as possible... KEEETTTCCHHUUUUUPPPPP!!!!!

That's what happens when you ask the CM for ketchup .....
The CM tells you to stand on your chair and yell for ketchup....
and of course the CM says your not yelling loud enough.

Then every kid in WC with ketchup/s on their table rush them over to your table.

Then you are responsible for the same when the next person asks for ketchup.

Just don't be disappointed if nothing special happens. We ate there during Easter break and we heard a waitress ask everyone to be quiet so someone could hear on the cellphone. Nothing else. We were there for an early lunch--noon--so maybe that was it.

We enjoyed the food, though, so we were happy.

I have been a couple times for breakfast and a couple times for lunch. The early morning breakfasts are fairly quiet with an occaisional outburst and we did have the ketchup even pulled on us. It was fun but mellow.
One time at lunch it was fairly mellow with a few goings on here and there. The other time at lunch they had the whole restaurant singing and dancing and such.

Just tell him to "borrow" a bottle from another table!!!;) :p :earseek:

We go every trip for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There has always been some fun going on. It is one of my families favorites. My son asked for refills 4 times and every time they brought a bigger container. He also said his pickle wasn't juicy enough and they brought him a glass of pickle juice.

How far ahead do ypu need to book your PS? Does it need to be booked on Day 90 or can it be booked closer to your departure or book while you are on vacation.
Planning a late lunch or early dinner.

Will be there Nov- Dec with 8 yo DGD. Im going to keep it a secret . Ill see if i can get her to ask for ketchup and a large drink.;) ;) ;)

We loved WC. We had dinner there; I'm not sure what they do at lunch. My DH asked for Pepsi. Big mistake. Disney serves only Coke. Our waitress walked over to the PA system and told everyone in the resturant to point at him and yell "Mickey doesn't drink Pepsi-Mickey drinks Coke". Everyone did it. My DS's thought this was great fun. The guy next to us ordered DIET Coke. The waitress brought it to him in a container the size of a bucket "because it doesn't have any calories". My kids kept asking for refills, so she brought them each a pitcher with a straw in it. Oh, and make sure you ask for a straw.
