Hi
How far from DD is WCC?
also I would like to know any reviews you may have on the SSR sit down restuarant turf bar & grill ? I don't see much reports on that restaurant .

By DD - do you mean Downtown Disney?

Here is a map showing the overall resort area - including DTD and Wilderness Lodge (where WCC is). It shouldn't take more than 15 minutes if you're driving. Using Disney buses, obviously you have to allow quite a bit more time to wait for the bus and all.

Turf Club at SSR generally gets very good reviews. We had a very good meal there, but terrible service from our waitress (as in really really bad). But our experience on that seems to be exception from everything I've read.

Turf Club is TDF. Seriously the food is better than LeCellier steak house. However, it is in a resort, not a park (Saratoga Springs)- you can walk there from DTD since the resort is next door. If you are going for great food, you will NOT be disappointed!

It would be very easy to get to WCC from DTD. You just hop on a bus which travels directly to Wilderness Lodge where WCC is. That being said, in our experience, WCC isn't really worth the trip. It's not bad if you're going to WL anyway or even staying there. But I wouldn't make a special trip.

We went to WCC yesterday for dinner. It took about 15-20 minutes from Downtown Disney. Keep in mind that if you get on the bus at the market place, the bus will pick/drop off at Pleasure Island after. If there are any wheel chair/scooter people to be loaded that could add to your wait time. WCC was a lot of fun and the food was pretty good (got the skillet). FYI, if you ask waiter for ketchup, every waiter in the place will bring you a bottle of it, like 20-30 or if you ask for a fork, like my Husband did, they will bring you a 3-4 foot tall fork. It was funny.

We ate at SSR evening. We all ordered the Ribeye steak and it was really good. Ceasar salad was very good also. My Husband had the onion rings for an appetizer and he said they were good.

I'd eat at Turf Club before I'd eat at Whispering Canyon. The food's much better. I am not much interested in the "show" at WCC but you might be. Not everyone gets the "show" - it's going to depend on what your server feels like doing.

Turf Club is located at a resort that is some distance away from the theme parks, and is not the type of highly themed Disney resort that people who are not staying there will take the time to visit and look around. That is why you don't see a lot of reviews for it here.
