Would anyone recommend dinner or lunch to be better? We are staying at All Stars, so I'm guessing we will travel either from MK by boat (is this a good plan? How long will we need to give to get there?) or taking the bus from DHS or AK to there.

If you have kids I would definately recommend dinner - the restaurant seems to be livlier and more fun then. It's been awhile since I've been there for lunch, but the times I have it's more subuded then dinner. Either way, it's a great restauarant and definately worth going to if only to see WL.
I would reccommend to go on a day when your at MK this way you can take the boat directly from MK to WL. Give yourself at least 1/2 hour to 45 minutes to get to the restaurant from the park. The time depends on how long you have to ait for the boat. Plus you would probalby want some time to look around the WL lobby - it's beautiful. On non-peak season the boat doesn't run as often as during peak season.

Also there's a boat from the Contemporary to WL. So you can also take the monorail hotel from MK to Contemporary then the boat from Contemporary to WL.
When going back to MK from WL I usually see what boat comes first then go that route.

Take the boat from MK! It is quick and painless. Depending on when you get to the boat launch, it can 15 to 30 minutes. The boat ride itself is about 15 minutes (I never timed it but it is short).

WC is good for lunch or dinner. The service is the good. The menu changes a bit. We actually like the lunch menu a bit more. Simple food done well. It is a simple place and menu either way. Nothing fancy. But the food is always good. It is always loud and fun. Although lunch seems a BIT less loud. You cannot go wrong either way. Check out the menus for both. That will help you decide what is best for you.

I think we will do well with either menu selection. I guess I'm looking for more interation. It seems like I'm hearing dinner has more going on - and that is just what I'm looking for!

I thought I had read on here a post from one of the servers, she had said lunch they (they servers) seem to have more energy to put into the job.

I'm hoping lunch is crazy! We are going on a Saturday for lunch, so maybe it will be crowded.

I want the full effect of the place!
