We did WCC for the first time on 8/16 for dinner. We had a 8:20 ressie, and (and I got that more than 60 days out!) Took the boat from MK

It was fun for ou 4yr old grandson, who can be a bit shy. (he was saying " Mommy, the kids here aren't being good.

We had to explain that it was OK here. We had him screaming for ketchup in no time!

He did the hobbyhorse race, too. I thought the skillet was great,(loved the brisket) couldn't eat it all. The chocolate cake was great.

You tend to not get the most from the food because there is so much going on around you. Our server was somewhat sedate, although she did throw a bunch of straws at us. All of the waiters stomp around very loudly also. It is a very loud meal, my DH left in the middle of it because he had a headache.
The lodge is beautiful, I would recommend it to anyone, as long as you know how loud and rowdy it will be.
