whispering canyon question

Hi everyone - just a quick question about whispering canyon - we have dinner reservation at whispering canyon during our trip Labor Day week - we notified our travel agent at AAA about ds7's allergy to nuts and she gave us the number to whispering canyon to call and let them know - she also said that no seating requests are taken at this time....

my question is : when i call about the nuts do I also let them know about the 40th bday we'll be celebrating as well? do you think that could help our seating assignment? i have heard on this board that main dining is the best -

On our last trip, the CM who made all of our dining reservations put the birthday on the reservation so each restaurant already knew. Did your travel agent do that when you make the reservation at whispering canyon? My thought is that the direct call to the restaurant really is just about the allergy and they aren't worried about special additions, like birthdays, and prefer those be noted on the reservation you made with Disney Dining.

But if you're calling anyways, I suppose it wouldn't hurt to ask if they were the right people to note the birthday with.
