Whispering Canyon or Trails End.

Which would you choose? We have two small children so th atmosphere at WCC would be o.k. How is the food at the two?

whispering canyon cafe. they really go out of there way to make it an enjoyable experience for kids, the wait staff takes the theming beyond. they do things like horse races around the room with the kids, or if you ask for ketchup they get everyone in the restaurant to bring it to your table. if you ask for a straw they sometimes will give you 50 or so. the food is better too. trail's end was a good deal if you want to pack down a lot, but i found it to be very standard buffet fair.

I second WCC it has great fun for the kids of all ages and the food is better.

I vote for Trails End we try last Oct for 1st time and just loved it. The food was super and the server was great too. The last couple times at WCC DW and I and a friend did not enjoy food or the servers. So WCC is off our list for now. We do not give up on a restaurant. The 1st time it was not so good so we tryed it the next trip and nothing had changed. So for now it is not on our list to dine at. Will watch reviews and maybe will try again in later vists to WDW.

We love the experience at WCC. That being said, we ordinarily would not pay those prices for food of this quality (mediocre -- particularly if you are a BBQ devotee), even given WDW's inflated prices. We find better food for the money at other Disney restaurants. But once in a blue moon we will pay to enjoy the fun that our kids experience. Fortunately the service has been great for us.

So we prefer WCC to Trail's End, but I have to admit that I love spending time in Fort Wilderness. If that is what it takes to get you there, it might be worth a trip.

We prefer WCC to TE. They are both ok, but the atmospher at WCC is uch better, esp if you have loud childern like I do IMO the food quality has decreased some over the years, but that's ok to me as I like going there for the fun. There area also a few tabes that are half booths which can be nice with little ones.

We enjoy both of them. If you want the atmosphere then WCC is better and the kids will probably have more fun. Trails End is a great bargin but it is just like any other buffet restaurant.
