Whispering Canyon or Cape May for dinner?

Opinions..experiences..which would you choose?

We have eaten at both and had good experiences at both. Cape May is one of our must do dinners at WDW. The seafood is good the other non seafood items are also good. The desserts at Cape May are excellent in my opinion. Just depends on if you want seafood or not. Kids might enjoy the Whispering canyon atmosphere more than Cape May.

Whispering Cafe is way more fun for adults and kids alike and food is better as well

I think Cape May wins for me. But I really enjoy seafood, so it all depends. Both have lovely atmosphere.

Cape May is a must do for DH. I think it is a toss up for me. I love the seafood at Cape May, but I think Whispering Canyon is lots of fun! You can't go wrong either way- just very different experiences.

We have been to both. Little kids would like WC more......they get to ride the pony stick around the restaurant. Food is good ...

We love Cape Mays buffet...seafood etc....great. We walk over to Epcot after dinner.

I haven't done Whispering Canyon, but Cape May was really good.

We've done both & we loved Cape May. It was delicious, a great variety & great service. We went to WCC the last night of our trip thinking it would be a fun ending for our trip & we were so disappointed. Our server was fantastic but the skillet was the worst food we had all week. We're not picky eaters or food snobs but it was truly awful. The meat had cooled down so much, you could see the fat already turning white. The beans were way overcooked & the cornbread was hard. The servers were all having fun & engaging the guests but it was just a little too much excitement for our son who was 4.5 yrs at that time. He was scared to jump in with the loud & rowdy kids. It may have just been an off- night & we were glad to visit the beautiful lodge but I don't think we'll ever go back.
