Hi, We currently have an ADR for Whispering Canyon at lunchtime on the day of MNSSHP. We are not going into the park until the party so I thought this might be a good time to go.

After hearing a couple people say the antics at lunch were not as wild as the antics for dinner I am reconsidering switching to another day for dinner instead. I really want the kids to get the whole experience. They are looking forward to a wild meal with the horse riding and all the other surprises I wont tell them about!:rotfl:

We haven't eaten there since 2000 so its hard to remember there being a difference.

So is lunch just as fun as dinner? Is there a difference in the "show"?

Thanks in Advance,

Shawna

DH and I have been for lunch several times and it has always been pretty quiet for us. Definately not the same crazyness that you find at night. The waiters are still really fun, it's just the restaurant isn't very crowded. We had a lot more fun at dinner.

Dinner is definately the meal that is the loudest and most active. The few lunches I've had there are on the quiet side - the server may say some silly things and such, but it wasn't nearly as "wild" as the dinner.

Plus everytime I've been there for dinner they usually have all the kids get up and run around the retaurant with stick horses. And then there's the ketchup joke and the straws..

If your kids are looking for a fun time - I would try for a dinner reservation.

We just got back. Had the most fun at this restaurant at dinner time. They were so nice and funny!! We ended up with tons of ketchup bottles on our table. The little ones loved it. I will put pictures on here tonight. Tired.... Best food ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have only done Breakfast and Dinner. Food was great at both but we had much more fun at dinner.

We went for lunch last September and there were very very very little antics. I had sort of prepared myself for this rowdy good time meal and was disappointed.

Thanks so much for the replies! :)

I'm going to cxl our lunch ADR and book for dinner on another night. I really want them to see this restaurant atmosphere at its best!!! :cool1:
