Whispering Canyon for lunch?

Do they still do fun activities for kids during lunch hours? I'm sure it's quieter at lunch but is it as much fun?

My kids are ages 4 thru 11 so they would totally get into this place. We are also going to 50's PT. How do these two restaurants compare?

I also would be interested in the answers to your questions. I was wanting to eat at whispering canyon for lunch, and then couldn't remember if it was there that the waiters will sometimes hand feed you your vegetables & stand you in the corner or if that was maybe 50's prime time. We think it would be fun to watch that but would not want to be embarased if this was done to us.
I know WC is loud & to ask for ketchup.

We ate lunch here twice. The first time was last June, and the place was crowded and very lively. It seemed that the adults,more than the kids, got the bulk of the attention. The second time was in December, late lunch seating, and there was no real activity. I've heard that it depends on how crowded the place is.

I second what Pistol Pete said. We have gone and it really depends on the crowd. We ate there last Oct 2002 and it was very quiet and there was no activities going on. 3 years ago when we ate there it was very busy and had lots going on. Now my almost 7 year old would hate the noise but my 2 year old would love it! Great burgers and shakes yummy. It's what I'm having for lunch next Monday at 12:30 so if you spot the most gorgeous two year old in the world join us!

We ate a late lunch here last summer. The only activity that was going on was our DS riding the horse to our table. There were none of the fun antics that I have seen described on these boards going on. The food was pretty bad- it seemed to be leftover from the earlier lunch. It was dry and not very tasty. If you want to try it, I recommend going at lunchtime, not later.
