Whispering Canyon for birthday?

We've never eaten here but I know there's a lot of antics that go on. What do they do for a birthday?

I'm not sure what they do specifically for a birthday, but I'm sure if you mentioned it a lot of attention would be brought to your table. It is a lively & fun place to eat.

Even without celebrating a b-day, things are, uh, lively ... I think if you let the good WDW-DINE folks know about the birthday when you made PS's, and mentioned it again at the podium, you'd definitely have all the attention you could stand.

For my son's 5th or 6th birthday, we went there. They made him stand on a chair in front of everyone and had everyone stand up and do the hokey-pokey. He clearly wasn't happy about being the center of attention, and started crying.... lol. If they had anything else planned for him, they let it go. Since its on videotape, I can use it against him later. He'll be 9 the day after we return from the upcoming trip.

They will make the birthday person the center of everyone's attention, so be prepared! For adults, it's usually making the birthday person ride a stick horse around the restaurant while singing "Happy birthday to me". And if you don't do it loud enough, you have to go out in the lobby and do it again!!

For my brother's 16th birthday last month, our waiter made him lead the pony express ride. He rode around the restaurant on a stick pony with a string of little kids behind him. It was hilarious! We laughed so hard!!

They did the same for me...but it was my 20th birthday (no I didnt cry ) And then I had to ride the stick horse around the restaurant singing happy birthday to me....then I cried...
