My kids are 6 and 3 and we usually go to character restaurants. We want some changes and we want to know if WCC is suitable for 3yrs old.

This is an excellent place to take your kids. It is a loud and rowdy place. About every 30 minutes, they have a stick horse parade around the entire restaurant where all the children go and choose a stick horse and callup around hooping and hollering. The food is good and the unlimited refills on milkshakes are great!. You must try this out. Even my 12 year old rode the stick horses.
Have fun!

My soon-to-be seven year old has been going since he was ten months old. It can be a very fun place to eat.

My kids have been a bunch of times, starting at age 14 months and not yet 3...We were there recently when the little one was just turning 3 and the big one was 5.... We have had great experiences each time we have visited with our kids....They love the noise and lively atmosphere... They also love the wooden, pony races that go on...It is a great place for kids... The menu is simple and the food is not fancy...Perfect for families!

I love that it is not a buffet (we eat at a lot of those) and that I can eat a nice meal without the worry of keeping the the kids quiet ;)

My 3 year old son had a BLAST...horse races and lots of hootin' and hollarin'....plus, you do not have to worry you are bothering other diners if they are loud or cry :) Have fun!

We had a horrid dining experience here. My daughter is 10 and she did not like this place and asked to never go back.

We went for lunch at 2:00. We were there for nearly 3 hours. @_@ Our wait time for everything was terrible. It was not crowded at all and there was plenty of wait staff. After returning home, we heard from friends and read other reviews stating they spent the same length of time (or close) at WCC.

I think that is a long time for a 3-year-old. If my very sweet and patient 10-year-old grew tired of it, I would be cautious about a 3-year-old who might not like sitting in the same place for such a long period of time.

Wispering Canyon is so much fun :cool1: :cool1: Like a pp said, it's a loud and rowdy place where the kids can have fun:thumbsup2 We have 2 teenagers and we all enjoy eating there:goodvibes I'm sure your kids will have a great time:banana:

What about if you don't have kids??:confused3

It is still a great place to eat. My DH & I would definately eat there if we didn't have the kids with us!

Luckily we have never had the same experience as VMK_Mouse. We've never had an excessive wait for our drinks, meals or anything else. Maybe a little longer than at our local Fridays but nothing close to a three hr. wait.

DH and I spent half of our honeymoon at the WL... We had a few meals during our stay... Two times for breakfast and two times for dinner (if I remember correctly)... We loved it!!! We loved the food and the lively atmosphere... DH loved that big beer he got there... We still have the plastic pitcher it came in... There is a quieter corner in the back by the fireplace... They sat us there for dinner both nights and that was really nice because we were away from the kids running around... Not that we cared.... We enjoyed watching the kids run around and people running to different tables with their ketchup.
