Whirlwind Trip and DVC Purchase

DW,DD & I made a whirlwind trip to WDW over the weekend. We went by the DVC office on thursday afternoon in the rain to look at the rooms and talk to a guide. Well because of all the rain we weren't able to get a tour until Friday morning, they did however give us two free meal coupons because we were soaked when we showed up. Friday morning we were picked up by a DVC van from our resort and made the trek to BWV. We met our guide and he started in on his sales pitch. During the presentation our DD started becoming fussy so we let it slip that we were pretty familiar with DVC and how it works. He basically said "Oh you know all about DVC, what do you guys want?" We said "200 pts at BCV, Magical Beginings and we are putting 10% down, financing the rest." 20 minutes later we walked out of the sales office with our package in hand, backpack, two pens, and our lithograph, no $100 in Disney Dollars, if we could have made it through the sales presentation and acted undecided we probably could have gotten that. But anyway to make a long story short we bought our DVC membership and look forward to coming home next fall. Kudo's to Barry at the information office for making us feel welcome and trying everything in his power to get us with a guide on thursday afternoon, and for Hassan our guide who put up with a fussy 1yr old while trying to do his presentation, he did a great job calming her down when mom and dad wouldn't do. All in all a wonderful experience, I think the DW is going to do a trip report for the weekend on another board here.
