And stay at the Tee Pee Village. It looks so cool. PBS had a show on unusual buildings last night. Made me want to jump on a plane and go on vacation. Anyone stayed there or has seen it?

Well, for a gal who was born in Kentucky and grew up just outside of Louisville, I have never heard of Tee Pee Village.

Where's it near?

I knew I'd get this wrong, Deb. It's Wigwam Village, but the owner said they are really shaped more like Tee Pees than Wigwams. It's located in Cove City. If PBS in your area shows this try to catch it. There is some really cool stuff like a ketchup bottle water tower, a duck gift shop, a milk bottle Ice Cream shop. A clam box, a restaurant here in Ipswich, MA. The giant organge friut shop near WDW. Just shows the great imaginations American have.

Very close to Bowling Green (about 60 miles north of Nashville TN). I lived in KY for over 10 years... have seen the wigwam village, but haven't stayed there. I believe the "wigwams" are made out of concrete. They are heated and have air conditioning. They are very "campy"! Looks clean and I think they do a pretty good business in the summer.

Then I was probably right by there a few weeks ago!!

Cave City is probably near Mammoth Cave, the longest and most famous of the Kentucky cave system. Over 360 MILES of explored caves, the largest in the US. Many other caves near by.

I'll have to look for WigWam Village if we go back . . .
