Anyone know what happened to Teresa from While You Were Out on TLC? The last few episodes it has been a differant host.

DH & I were wondering that last night too. I don't like this guy, his voice-over reading is pretty bad and he just seemed to be trying too hard to do the same things that Teresa does (did?) I wasn't sure if these were just early episodes that I had never seen or if this is a replacement.

It seems like they've even changed the show's music too, which seemed odd.

That's too bad!! But I respect her for putting her family first. 200 days a year is an awful long time to be away.

I'm sure the new guy will get better. That's a lot of pressure coming in to fill someone else's shoes on a TV show. I just hope they change the show a tiny bit so he can do something that brings in his own personality - something that doesn't look like a male Teresa.

I actually like Evan...I thought Teresa was kind of annoying. (but she was better than the original host...that blonde girl who, IMHO, was tied with Samantha Brown for being the most annoying person on television) Plus Evan's pretty cute.

Did anyone else recognize him from the boyband that MTV created a few years ago, 2gether? I knew he was familiar, and then when Leslie was wearing the t-shirt w/ the shirtless pic of him, I figured it out.

He is cute and knows how to use the power tools at least. I think with time he will come into his own. Just like Page did on Trading Spaces. I like Teresa and will miss her. 200 days a year.....WOW that's along time to be away from your family.

I kind of like the new guy! He does seem to have a little nervous chatter, hopefully he'll come around after awhile. My sister and I were both glad because I was not too crazy about Teresa. She was somewhat wishy washy. My sister will NEVER forget the time she was sick and whined and whined about it! I didn't like the way she sort of begged that snooty Chase Dakota for acceptance....UGH! Evan, at least is eye candy, as is Mr. Dan Jumbo!

Thanks for the info. I thought he was just a fill in, I would of been sitting here forever thinking Teresa was going to come back. I'm not sure about Evan. He seems to help out alot more on the actual room but it's something about his voice that doesn't grab my attention. Hopefully I will adjust.

I actually really liked Teresa! She's mostly a writer, which explains her quick wit. On her website, she said that she loved doing WYWO but that travelling over 200 days a year was just wearing her out. So, now we have Evan...this jury is out on him!

I'm watching an "Evan" episode now and has anyone noticed that Leslie doesn't seem to LIKE him too much??? She doesn't give him eye contact at all and he really went out of his way to make her deal with him. He is a bit too "cutesy"...
