While in Orlando, do you do those roadside death attractions?

While we were down there, we noticed quite a few roadside attractions. There was one in the parking lot of an Outback Steakhouse that shot you up into the sky on a giant rubberband and then let you bounce up and down. Never in a million years would I go on something like that set up in a parking lot. Anyone here do those attractions?

I did one off I drive before, bunjee jumping. I also loved to stop on the roadsides and get boiled peanuts. Nothing like fresh boiled peanuts, really!

I have a hard time getting on the teacups at Disneyworld so the answer for me is....no.

I did the bungee jump when they had it at Old Town 11 years ago. DH is trying to convince me to do the Sky Coaster that they have there now !

I have done that ride. During our trip in 2002 we met up with my Mother and Step Father in Old Town. My Mother really wanted to try this ride, and I agreed since rides just never scare me. It was a real rush.

At the time Mother was dieing from cancer ( I lost her in 2003) and undergoing chemo. When they let us loose and shot us into the sky she was screaming that she was losing her wig (the chemo took her hair). She was screaming but laughing the entire time. I have a picture of us on this ride, but don't know how to post it. One of my favorite memories of this fun, courageous, tough woman.

Don't get me wrong...I love thrill rides too! I'm just not sure about thrill rides set up in the parking lot of Outback Steakhouse. I just envision myself being shot off and landing in Tampa.

Next time I'm in Orlando we're going to have a "Let's all die together" DIS Meet and everyone has to go on the rubberband of death. Yippeee!!! Get those wills ready folks!

No way!

I don't even do carnivals.

Any ride that can be put together in less than 24 hours and torn down in less than 12 hours is not a ride for me or my family

i think that's one DIS meet i'll plan to skip!

i can't do the teacups...no chance that you'll get me onto to the rubberband of death!!

I did the SkyCoaster- twice!! It is the most fun/scary thing I've ever done in my life!!!!! I HIGHLY recommend it!
