While Crusing and Internet Cafe ????

For the times that you might have cruised with either The Magic for The Wonder, have you used the Internet Cafe and did you share with someone in your group??

I usually sign up for it on every cruise so that I can keep in touch with my family.

I have on several occasions shared it with someone else and never gotten caught by anyone.

If you have shared, did you get caught and have to open your own account??

my husband and I tried to let my brother use it and the lady caught us and he had to leave while we signed on

I shared it with my friend and her daughter who were in the same room as us...I have never been in the internet cafe when anyone was ever working there so there was no one to ever catch us....you can also go to Cove Cafe and use the ones there, no one there either.

What do you mean by "getting caught"? Is there a time limit to this Internet Cafe? Do they charge you? I thought everything was paid for on this cruise.

We all shared it.(just our room, our family) We just used a sign on and password we all knew. We also used it late at night most of the time. I never saw anyone watching the area or anything. Only one person can log on at a time though, so we just took turns at different times of the day. $89.95 for unlimited use. Not free!

The charge is supposed to be per person, not family or stateroom. It is random when they try to catch multiple people use the same account. Some of the girls are smarter than others. Some don't care

Technically yes, they do charge per person, not stateroom.....but...if you make one log on and each person just logs on using that you can do it that way if you don't get caught....

Yes, they both are open continuously. The only time they are not available is if the satellite is being challenged and it cannot be accessed.

I didn't get a chance to use it on our 3 day cruise since I felt like our time was so limited, but I definitley want to to tak advantage of it when we go on our 7 day!

Wow, I didn't know it was $89 per person! Well, I guess that's how DCL prevents large groups from sharing, thus DCLlosing money. But I don't like it. I guess DS will be doing all the emailing for our whole family, because I don't want to have to worry about being caught and being embarrassed. Well, there go my late nights alone in peace without family relaxing for a few minutes with my internet.
