Which Would You Rather?

I was thinking this earlier and then it became a topic on the radio, so I was wondering how others feel.
Like many of you, we are going through a cold spell right now, with high temps only getting in the low 20s. A couple weeks ago we were getting socked with snow storm after snow storm dumping on us.
So, would you rather the storms, or do you prefer the cold?

Personally, I would prefer 85 degrees and sunny, but thats not an option in New England in January. ;) So, I have to go with the cold. The storms just make too much of a mess, and they totally stress me out.

That's a tough one! I don't mind the snow if I can stay home, but if its just really cold and no storms at least its not a problem driving. Hmmmmm. I guess I'd choose cold but they are both icky choices!

I definitely preferred the cold to the storms. In fact, I wouldn't have minded staying up there to live, if it weren't for the storms. I agree -- BIG STRESS FACTOR!

Never regretted my decision to move to FL, but when we have cold weather (well, cold for HERE), I welcome it and everyone thinks I'm NUTS!;)

As long as there's no SNOW or ICE!!!!

I cannot stand snow, unless I am skiing.

I pick the cold. (did I just say that?????)

I think that cold is the lesser of two evils!

I can't stand storms. We don't have them very often here, but we have them often enough for me to know that I don't like them. I'm not particularly fond of cold either, but it's not quite as bad. And my definition of cold is very different than most of yours. The high today is going to be 46, and I consider that to be very cold.

You don't have to shovel cold. That's my choice!!!

From my 30+ years of living in Illinois,

I would pick the snow only because the weather would be warmer. Course, it could make for dangerous driving conditions, but I hate cold weather so the snow would be the lesser of 2 evils to me.

If people around here knew how to drive in it and they didn't close everything down, I'd choose the storms. However, since that doesn't seem to be the case, I choose the cold.

I'm not a Winter person, I hate it actually. BUT, since I can't stand having to drive in the snow or ice, I would say I would much rather deal with this cold spell we are in. The kids would much rather have snow days though . . .so far we've only had one snow day . . .and a ton of early dismissals.

The big storms are always more life-thretening than cold.

We are in a cold snap here in MN. We have not had any big snowstorms yet this year, but winter's not over yet!

Herc.

I would *much* rather be in cold than in storms. I *hate* storms.

I hate winter altogether, but would rather have snow than cold. With just cold, it's all brown and yucky looking. At least with snow, it's pretty. We also need the moisture so bad.

I would rather just have the cold.

Well, if I didn't have to drive,I'd pick the snow storm. It IS pretty and the kids love to play in it.That said,if it comes during a time where I have to be out in it,I will take the cold any day of the week.Driving in snow/ice or whatever freaks me out and I grew up here  !

You don't have to shovel cold, so that'd be my preference! :)
