Every year we do Chef Mickeys for dinner our first night at disney, this year my DD would like to go to 1900 park fare. What do you think. How is the food. Will we enjoy it? Thanks

I have not been to Park Faire but it gets good reviews. I think with it having Cinderella your DD well like it very much. I was also think about doing this meal for our first night instead of CM. Since it is on the Monorail line we can still do our first night ride on the monrail.

If your DD wants to go to 1900 PF, I'd say go for it! I haven't eaten there yet, but I've heard lots of good reviews on it! We're going to be eating there during our trip as well....

We have eaten at both and like both for different reasons. Chef Mickey's can't be beat for a fun, fun atmosphere. 1900 PF is more subdued yet still fun and has better food.

CM is extremely fun, but the food is so-so. The Cinderella's dinner was yummy, but limited to Cindy, the Prince, the Fairy Godmother, and the two mice. If your DD is happy to skip CM, I would say go for Cindy's. Maybe you could do CM for brealfast during your trip.

I have been to both and prefer 1900 Park Fare. I like it better mostly because of the characters. Face characters are a lot more interactive. We'll be there for the 3rd time in just a little over 2 weeks.

I prefer Chef Mickey's, myself. I won't be back to 1900 Park Faire. The food was so-so (cold, not re-filled, etc), the service spotty, the characters distant and the calliope (however the heck you spell it!) was annoying.

Do you need to see characters? Why not try 'Ohana or Roaring Forks for a fun dinner?

We like both, and so do our kids.

Chef Mickey's is a little bit more free-wheeling and fun, though I give the nod to 1900 Park Fare in terms of food quality and choices.

Have you tried the Crystal Palace? In my experience it beats the other two buffets hands down.
