Which would you pick....

We are going back to disney in Sept (haven't gone in 2 years). I told our daughter we would do a princess buffet for her. I booked the 1900 park fare since we have never done that one. I an trying to decide if maybe I should change it to the Norway Princess buffet. I have never been to either and haven't heard good reviews for either of them but I know not all the buffets are good anyways. So should I keep the 1900 PF or change it to the Norway one. Any info would be great.

If it's princesses she wants, you better switch to Akershus. I believe Park Fare only has the Evil Stepmother and the Stepsisters, who are a lot of fun, but certainly not princesses.

We prefer Akershus in Norway, but 1900 Park Fare is good too. Akershus is not really a buffet. There is a small buffet (fruits, cheeses, cold meats, breads), but they bring food to your table as well. At breakfast it's family style, at lunch and dinner you order your entree from a menu, and get an assortment of desserts. 1900 PF is a traditional buffet where you go up to get all your food.

Also, 1900 PF has only one princess -- Cinderella -- along with her prince, stepmother, and stepsisters. The stepsisters were a riot when we were there; character interaction with them was terrific. The others just signed their autographs, posed for a photo, and moved on. Akershus is princesses, a variety of them, and you get a photo package which is included in the price.

We have dined at both, and while PF was enjoyable (the stepsisters were the highlight), I think Akershus is better because of the different princesses (Sleeping Beauty, Belle, Ariel and Snow White were at ours) and the photo that is included with the price of the breakfast is a great bonus. I thought the food was fine at either. Enjoy!
