Which would you pick? Ohana or Tony's?

Ohanas is just okay!:confused3 We prefer Kona:rotfl:, but Tony's is terrible! Not good food plus very slow service and very loud restaurant!:scared1: We won't be going back to Tonys!

I was faced with this exact same decision two weeks ago. It was our last day and I had a dinner ADR at 'Ohanas for 7:30. It was the ADR we were most looking forward to, but my aunt passed away during our trip and my parents had to leave 4 days early, so it was just my daughter and I. We had already eaten at Kona (awesome) once during the trip, and it just seemed "wrong" to go to 'Ohana without my parents. (and also a bigger hassle to get over there from MK)

So we walked up to Tony's instead. We got in right away and had a fabulous meal. I had chicken parm and it was perfectly fine. Not the best I've ever had, but it was in no way bad, or even mediocre. It was GOOD!

My daughter loved her spaghetti and meatball as well.

And the pistachio creme brulee was the BEST I had all week (and I had it at Le Cellier, WGP and Sunshine Seasons as well, so I think this is saying a lot for Tony's version, because they were all good!)

The service was great too, not slow or rushed. Drinks refilled without asking, etc. And I didn't find it any louder than any other place. I actually think it was quieter? In any case, we will definitely go back! I was surprised we liked it as much as we did after all the bad reviews I read. maybe we caught it on a good/slow day and got a great server! :)

Having said all that though, I am still bummed we missed Ohanas...but there is always next time. :)

We would choose Ohana. But our goal with Disney meals is to have a nice break from the parks and enjoy the atmosphere. So we enjoy the monorail or boat ride over there and don't find it inconvenient at all. We have also never waited there any longer than other restaurants like Chef Mickey's or Crystal Palace. But if you're in a big hurry and don't want to lose park time, the trip over and back will take a little bit of extra time.
