We are staying at poly from 9/27-10/3 and I want to take advantage of the Bounceback program for next year. We got the 40% off deal this stay and I don't think this deal will compare so I need your opinions.

I think our choices will be ASMu Family Suite, FW Cabins or POR. I plan on booking two rooms, but I need to be able to fit 5 in case my parents decide not to come. Seems like any other Deluxe or Suite is going to be too expensive.

Which would you pick....all three have advantages and disadvantages.

Thanks

I think all three resort picks are great... as stated each w/ benifits.... If it were me I would choose between ASMuS & POR... I would think that the cabins would be too "Buggy" for me....

We are a family of five and have stayed at both POR and ASMu Family Suite. POR room is very tight for five people, but the grounds and boat to DTD are great. ASMu FS was a fantastic room for five. Two bathroms kitchenette and a seperate room for the parents. Each child also had there own foldout bed that was very comfortable. Grounds at the ASM were ok, and there is only a bus to get around.

Hope that helps.

My favorite is POR. If you have 5 you can get a room with a trendle bed. We got it once but on other trips we drove and took an air mattress and this was bigger and better then a trendle bed which is small.
Will be there in 15 days and already thinking about the bounce back free dining for next year.:hippie: :cool1:

What bounce back free dining? I am going this year on the bounce back, but I had to be there last Dec to get it. I haven't heard about a bounce back program this year. Are they doing it again this fall?

Bounce back is a promotion WDW offered last Dec reserving a new trip while still on a trip on property. They offered free dining last year if you were staying on property in December and signed up. I just had not heard of a promotion being offered this fall...

We're also a family of five. We stayed at POR in '05 and loved it. Beautiful resort, great pool, great food court, all around wonderful. The problem is that the rooms are way too small for all five of us. We don't do double beds well. Even though we love the resort, we sadly won't even consider it for our next trip just because of the space issue.

I have three resorts in consideration:

SOG~ dh is military so we are lucky to have this lovely resort as an option. Rooms are huge and they have queen beds, but it's only one room and I am a night owl. It's very tough to stay up watching TV when it disturbs sleeping younglings. Plus, I am being spoiled and want a "true" Disney resort. I really want those Disney extras.

Two rooms at POP~ very cute resort and I like the idea of two rooms. However, they cannot promise we'll get connecting rooms and I do not like the thought of splitting up the family.

Or, ASMu Family Suites~ so far this is my front runner. Great layout. Two bathrooms, kitchenette, seperate bedroom for Daddy and me, and very cute theme. I hear the landscape is very nice and it is more of a quiet resort compared to the other values. I have read many recent reviews and have yet to hear anything bad about this resort. it sounds like a winner to me!

I hope I was at least a little help. Good luck with your choice. You almost can't go wrong, right? It's Disney, they are all great! I'm sure you'll enjoy your trip no matter which resort you choose.

Go to the restaurant DDP thread, people just getting back are saying they are being offered the bounce back right now in their resort. ME and DW will find our in about 15 days. :hippie: :cool1:
