we have a trip planned in march 2008 for 2 weeks, now i'm wondering if maybe i should split this into 2 trips, like march and october.so the question is is the long trip better or 2 trips in a year better?let me know your opinions!! thanks!:flower3:

I would rather go 2 different weeks myself. Of course after I went in Oct. If I was going to spend 2 weeks there it would be in Oct. I guess it all depends on to, if you want to spend the extra money to fly or drive there another week later in the year. You could use that money to go do other things at night that you haven't done before.

I have been to WDW a few times already so I would prefer 2 distinct vacations. That way I can look forward to the 2nd vacation when I get home and plan to do all the things we didn't get to do on the first one.

I must add that we have stayed 13 nights in 2005 and absolutely LOVED it too. It was a very relaxed vacation and we pan on doing that again sometime in the future. The not rushing part is so much fun, where as going one week at a time makes you (well me !) want to cram in as much as possible and there just isn't enough time.

I would prefer the longer trip, it would be more relaxing, and you can take your time visiting all there is to see. The 2 shorter trips would be rushed and you would not fit in everything you want to see. Granted, if you return for the second trip, you can pick up where you left off with the first trip, but; we have a tendency to repeat our favorites first, not leaving sufficient time to see what was missed on the first trip.

We've done both and I honestly have no preference! Whatever works out best for you is the right choice. Enjoy....

I think it would depend upon the travel time and travel expense involved.

For example, I live about a four hour drive from WDW, so I tend to take shorter trips, usually about five nights. And sometimes I go down to WDW for specific reasons, like seeing some spring training baseball, also I usually love to visit for a few days during the holiday season.

In short, I'd vote for the two shorter trips, if getting there and back isn't a problem.

Enjoy.
