Which would you chose?

Ok, Im looking at hotel/hopper pass deals on line and Im wondering which of these hotels you guys would chose and why or why not.

We are looking at a regular room, myself, my wife and two daughters that are 7. They are all fairly close in price and lets say price isnt the biggest issue. Im looking for the best/cleanest/fun, stay. Pool is important, my girls are water bugs. I know HoJos is great for the water park. We also want to be in walking distance with 7 year olds in tow. All of these seem to fit that.


Here are the choices in order of cheapest to most expensive.

The Quality Inn & Suites

Portofino Inn & Suites

Ramada Maingate - At the Park

Anaheim Fairfield Inn by Marriott

Anaheim Camelot Inn & Suites

Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel




DISNEY'S PARADISE PIER Hotel




Now PP is a couple hundred bucks more than HoJo, Camelot or Fairfield. We might do PP if it's far superior to any of these hotels on the list.

Any thoughts would be helpful.

HoJo (Howard Johnson) is the only one on your list that I have stayed at, and I absolutely love it. THere's a reason why it's a favorite amongst people on the board when it comes to Good Neighbor hotels on Harbor. It's a clean hotel with great staff & service, a do-able walk, the pool, and they offer good rates, especially if you look into their Entertainment Rate. It's where I'll always stay unless I have the money to spare and stay on-site.

I'd go with the camelot first, because the pool has a bit of a view into the park. Not much but you mostly catch the Matterhorn and Castle.

The Camelot and Ramada are also much closer than the others. I would choose those first and enjoy the free breakfast. It's not so much that you save a lot of time or distance on the walk. Over the day it will work out to under 1% but you'll appreciate it on the way home at the end of a long day.
