Wow, when I voted I had no idea that the voting would be as lop-sided as it was...no I won't tell...you have to go look
Personally I chose AKL - Savannah.
It's funny - the monorail got a nod for adding convenience, but in reality because the Resort line runs clockwise it actually takes longer to ride the monorail to get to the MK than it does to just walk to the MK from the Contemporary. Travel time to Epcot and The Studios is about the same from either resort, but it is kewler to arrive at Epcot on a monorail. Travel time to AK from the Cont is long, travel time from AKL to the MK is practically the same (long).
Contemporary : A 5 minute stroll to the MK, larger rooms (unless you will be getting an AKL 'Deluxe' room), electric water parade, larger beds (ditto), Monorail to Epcot (OK you do have to change beams at the TTC), Water Mice, Chef Mickey's
AKL : Exotic Critters right out your window, staggeringly excellent theming, great pool, The Boma, story-telling/special stuff, bunk beds for the kids
