Which would you choose?

WCC is one of our favorites. Ohana used to be a must do as well, but this last trip we had such a bad experience it will be a while before we try it again. Not that the food was bad, it was very good but the service was so slow...(we got our food before our drinks slow) and it was so loud we couldn't have a conversation at the table.

Haven't been to Ohana (it's on the list for next year), but we would pick it over WCC (we would pick any restaurant except H&V over WCC ).

If you care about the opinion of someone who hasn't been to either, yet, of the two, I think I'd choose Ohana first.

WCC - I went to Ohana this past summer and was fairly dissapointed - the dessert was phenomenal, but the service and the rest of the food was average to below.

WCC has been great each time we've gone, but be prepared - it is LOUD and crazy! We have ordered the skillet (which we loved), and of the menu and it's all been fantastic!

Maybe WCC for breakfast, but never again for dinner for us!

We love 'Ohana (for both breakfast & dinner!)

Love them both but 'Ohana is the one that is a must every trip for the past 6 years. Its a great experience for kids, families and the food is always yummy. We think of WCC as the Western version of our 'Ohana exeperience. If you can do it, do both. If you have to pick one then go with what your palette and heart tell you. You'll be satsified no matter what.

I can't believe I am going to say this... :duck:...but we ate at Ohana this past Sat night and it was terrible! I was so dissapointed! The food was really bad! It gets such great reviews I am assuming we maybe just hit it on an off night? :confused3
The salad was good...soggy but had a nice dressing on it. The wings were terrible...soooo sweet! The noodles were nasty...super sticky and tasted like they were drowned in extra salty soy sauce. The dumplings were actually inedible...they were completely dry and hard. The vegetables were what they were...broccoli and snow peas...not bad...not original. The meats all tasted the same to us..:confused3 The server brought pork and turkey to our plates at the same time and I couldn't tell the difference between the two. And I know...I can't believe I am saying this...but we thought the dessert was nasty sweet! :duck: it was like french toast drowning in sugar syrup with bananas and a sickly sweet vanilla sauce poured all over it. We didn't like anything about our meal. :sad2: One of the few places that we all agreed "never again".

we ate Ohana breakfast last yr. This we are doing BOTH Ohana for dinner and WCC for lunch. So I say, DO BOTH!!!

I would choose 'Ohana. We did not like WCC at all. 'Ohana used to be one of our favorites, but not anymore. We do still like it, but it is just not as good as it used to be. However, in my opinion, it is much better than WCC.

We love 'Ohana and always plan to eat a dinner meal there when we visit WDW. We have been lucky and have gotten tables where we could see the top of the castle (so we could see the color changing), and watch the fireworks during these meals. Our kids were at the age (11, 9, 6) where they enjoyed watching the games and entertainment. Not sure if they will feel the same this upcoming January trip as they're now tweens and teenagers.

We ate at both during our trip at the beginning of this month. While we very much enjoyed both, DBF and I agree that Ohana definitely outshines WCC in every way. :goodvibes

We've eaten at both and liked them both. So, if you can, try to do both. If I had to choose, I would vote for O'Hana's. We are going back in June and trying breakfast this time.:cool1:
