Which would you choose?

I can't decide which Univeral hotel to pick. I have 2 ressies. First I got AAA rate at HRH for $183.xx plus tax. Later I found RPR dropped their price to $159.xx which originally was the same price as HRH. We really just want the room key and are only staying 1 night prior to checking into our timeshare. I've heard the HRH is beautiful and never heard any complaints there. My neighbor stayed at both and said 2 rooms at RPR were really dirty and asked to be moved twice. She really isn't a snob and goes to WDW/US often. I trust her opinion. Would you take a chance w/ RPR or spend the extra $ for HRH. BTW, we are trying to save $ and make this sort of a budget/quickie trip-we are going on a Disney cruise in Feb.
I've kept both ressies while I decide so I thought I'll ask all of you!

I picked RPR. We have stayed there numerous times and we have never had trouble with the room. That doesn't mean it won't happen, but chances are it won't. You have the same chance at HRH for getting a room that may have had a lazy housekeeper that day.

If you are trying to make it a budget trip and just want the keys, I would definitely go with RPR.

We go to both and have never had a problem with either. If I came to a dirty room, I would asked to be moved immediately, no big deal. If my husband and I are going alone we chose RPR because it is usually a cheap(er) weekend getaway for us. If we bring the kids we stay at HRH because they love the pool and we are there for a longer amount of time. You just need to decide what atmosphere you like better, you are quite likely to get a clean room at both.

I would choose RPR we stayed there for the first time last oct. and we're returning this Oct. its great if u just want the keys for the rides. Its a nice and comfty hotel with the best prices. If I was in your position I would save the $ and go with RPR.

I say Hard Rock because that's a pretty good rate for it.

How did you get 149? Does it depend on how far in advance that you book? My price was w/ AAA.
