WHich would you choose?

Anniv. dinner with my DH of 16 yrs. Narrowed it down to the choices given, based mainly on his very picky palate (ever the meat/potatoes/occasional seafood guy!) Our 3 kids will go to a Disney kids' club during our meal, so if you have comments about the nearest kids' club to a given restaurant, let me know! I'm looking for the best all-around "package", LOL. Last time, we did Shula's (and got 2 hrs complimentary childcare for the kids @ Camp Dolphin - what a deal!) I *could* do that again.... but was hoping for something new! Doesn't have to be too fussy - we're on vacation, and besides, ANY meal together would be special in its own right, if we (a) actually get to talk during the meal and (b) get to eat the food while it's hot! (I'm sure you fellow parents can relate! ) If the food is also good - hey, that's a perk! Besides Shula's we have never been to any of the places listed, so I'm clueless on them!

Special Info: Sandcastle Club will be closed for refurbishment February 19-March 17, 2006.

Age: Childcare is provided for children over age 4 who are potty-trained, through age 12. Resorts will not make exceptions.

Hours: 4:30 p.m. to midnight, with some exceptions.

Beepers are provided to parents so they can be contacted in case of emergency. (Parents may also call the childcare club to check on their children if desired.)

Price: $10 per hour. Dinner is usually included and is usually typical children's fare, such as peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, hot dogs, hamburgers, macaroni and cheese, chicken nuggets and French fries, fruit and ice cream.

What about Artist Point? The menu should appeal to a steak/potato kind of guy. And the WL is so atmospheric.

There is a kids club (cubs den, I believe?) in the WL. Or you could choose the Poly or GF one and then take the monorail and boat over. Then you could have a night cap at the resort of choice! Awww, romantic!

If you want to stick to your list. I would not choose Kona, too casual and too many kids. Narcossees has always sounded great to me, but have not gotten to try yet.

I voted for Yachtsman because they have beef, and you've already been to Shula's.

Yachtsman is really hard to beat for great food and great service. DH, my two boys (16 and 19) and I have eaten there many times, and we are ALWAYS very happy with the whole experience.

By the way - Happy Anniversary!!!!

I voted for Yachtsman's, with Narcoosee's being a close second. I prefer the Kids club at BC (Sandcastle club) to the club at GF (Mousketeers club) better. The one at GF just seems to small and my kids love the Sandcastle Club.
