If you had a choice between doing VIP experience Ultimate Day of Thrills and Ultimate Night of Adventure or After Hours at Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom? Which would you choose and why? I realize that after hours is not always available but this is just in case similar offerings are available in January again.

If you have done either VIP experience or after hours, I would love your feedback.

This is my son’s graduation trip. His goal is as many rides as possible (and with as few lines as possible:)) so I am looking at options at Disney and Universal.

Thank you

After Hours. Because it’s a fraction of the price and because you could literally ride everything in the park (MK in my experience) in the 3 hours allotted. Or ride multiple times.
Thank you. We have done MVMCP and MNSSHP and if the crowds for after hours are similar I wouldn’t see it as a good option. Sounds like crowds might be lighter.

$375+ for 9 hours in 3 parks (3 after hour nights-I don’t remember seeing it offered at Epcot) compared to 11 hours in 4 parks for $600+ (day of thrills and night of adventures) comes to @$42/hour vs @$55/hour

So I guess my question is ... Is it worth an extra $13 an hour per person for the VIP experience?

Oh yeah, totally different than the parties. VIP tour is awesome to do as well but if your goal is just rides, after hours will do the trick.

After hours tends to be significantly lighter than the parties.
For me, I would choose the After Hours, with no hesitation. You can do what you want, when you want. Opposed to only doing specific rides and following what the group does.

Hopefully they will announce January after hour events by late September because I want to start firming up our plans by early October. I am not sure if VIP experience “sell out” or not, but I know you can cancel them. So if they don’t announce I may go that route as a back up.

Thank you for feedback.

After Hours, you can get a TON done. I would head to the park the moment you’re allowed to to catch and rides/shows not open during after hours that you want to do (unless you have an actual park day planned as well)

We did Ultimate Night of Adventure at AK back before After Hours started. We booked it purely for the short line to FoP since we were staying off site and couldn't get a fast pass for it at 30 days. We enjoyed it, but plan to do After Hours next time we go (if offered) since it's cheaper and so that we can ride Everest and FoP multiple times.
