this is what i have so far. i need to choose 2 that we will have to pay out of pocket for. i'm thinking maybe tony's since its for lunch but i'm not 100% sure. i thought of dropping that one (is it really amazing can't miss or run f the mill italian?) i was trying to pick some new places to try and kept some favorites.(in pink) never tried the others, except rainforest which they used tohave by our house but it close almost 10 years ago.

Bongos Cuban Cafe - dinner
Hollywood & Vine - breakfast
50's prime time - dinner
Ohana-breakfast
T-Rex- dinner
Tony's Town Square- lunch
Marrakesh - lunch
Tusker House
Whispering canyon cafe - dinner
Crystal Palace-breakfast

Rainforest Cafe - dinner
San Angel Inn - dinner

so which 2 would you pay for or drop one and pay for one?

My opinion, and it's only MY opinion :goodvibes would be to drop Tony's (my whole family thought it was just awful) and pay OOP for Rainforest (and that's not based on looking up any menus and comparing prices...I'm just thinking that might be the less expensive meal).

If you're a fan of Lady and the Tramp the decor in Tony's is cute, but we were very disappointed in the food. The pasta was mushy and overcooked and lacked flavor. Tony's is at the bottom of our list of Italian restaurants in DW.

I'd look at the buffet prices, and if you don't want to drop anything, pay for the two cheapest of those OOP, that way you know pretty much the exact cost and don't have to worry about prices when you order at the other places. But that's just me.

One thing to keep in mind is that you don't have to pay OOP or use dining credits for everyone. You can use credits to pay for some people and pay OOP for the others. That way, you can use your credits where they have the greatest economic impact. The general rule of thumb is the DDP credit "costs" about $35 (including entree, dessert, drink, and tax). So if your meal doesn't add up to $35, you might want to consider paying OOP for that one.

For example, let's say you go to WCC for dinner. One of you orders the skillet ($28.5), the chocolate cake ($8), and a soda ($3) and the other orders the Quinoa Cakes ($16), the cake ($8) and a soda ($3). The skillet person's meal is $39.5 (pre-tax), while the other person's meal is $27. So this would be a case where it might be good to pay with a credit for one person (skillet) and the other OOP (quinoa cakes).

We have been to Tony's twice and I didn't care for it either time. We only went the 2nd time because we took my parents (their first trip) and my Mom LOVES Lady and the Tramp. Even she was disappointed. I would drop that one.

The 'Ohana breakfast is going to be one of the cheaper ones so you might want to consider paying for that one. It depends. Rainforest, T-Rex or 50's Prime Time could be cheaper depending if you want dessert. 'Ohana breakfast would be the flat price which is why I would pay for that, you would know before hand how much it is going to cost and you won't have to wonder/worry how much the meal is going to be depending on what everyone orders.

Hope this helps :)

San Angel Inn is pretty inexpensive, isn't it? :confused3
I would drop Rainforest Cafe, because they have those everywhere -not just in Disney.

Best of luck, sorry I'm not much help! :coffee:

I'd definitely drop Tony's, and that would save you one meal for sure. As far as the others go, I would go to allears.net and look up the prices. I know they have the menu items, but am uncertain about prices but almost sure that they do. Then you can determine the cheapest meal and from there make sure to pay oop for it and save credits for others.
