Which would you choose for signature dinner?

My mom and I are doing a two night trip in February, staying at the Grand Floridian, and have limited time so we need to choose between California Grill, Citricos, Narcoossee's, and Toledo for dinner on our first night! Please share any reviews on those below as well. Out of the two of us, only I have dined at California Grill pre-covid, so we haven't been to any of the others. Also considering whether we'll get breakfast at Ohana or Topolino's before our day at Epcot. Let me know what you would do!

I love California Grill for it's location and Fireworks viewing. The food is very good, though I wish they would go back to the old menus and dump the Prix Fixe.

i usually look at the menus to decide which I would prefer, as the food is the most important to me.

Voted for Citrico's, because we've enjoyed it pre and post Covid, and still love it. Narcoossee's is also an excellent option, but we've not experienced it again since it reopened, so can't speak to the current menu and service. Cali Grille is a very close third on the list, and we'd not hesitate to enjoy an evening there, as well....

I would go with whichever menu appeals to you most between the first three. California Grill has the Prix Fixe menu now, which doesn't appeal to all (just in case that would make a difference for you). But other than that, I would make the decision based on the menu and ambiance that might work best.

If you’re staying at the GF for a super short trip with limited time, I’d choose either Citricos or Narcoossees. Look at both menus and decide which is more appealing.

Let me preface this by saying at signature restaurants I typically go for steak so I can't speak on any other entree options.

I seem to be in the minority, but I actually have never had a good meal at Cali Grill. I've given it a few shots and each time we have been let down in both service and food.

Narcoossees for me is a consistent hit and I've been eating there since 07, but currently their reservation system isn't allowing anything beyond Aug 14th (there's a lengthy thread about this on the boards)

I've never had Citricos but the reviews post-covid have been outstanding.

Toledo's menu doesn't appeal to me, and based on recent vlogs I've seen i'm not sure I would consider it a signature dining location. I plan on visiting the lounge though!

As a runner-up consideration, I loved my meal at Jiko. Their filet is top notch!

Citricos as first choice, then Narcoossee’s. Cal Grill has that prix fixe menu, so not a favorite for us, although the view is great. Toledo is too much of a trip from the GF, and not quite at the same level as the other three.

I have always thought California Grille is overrated and we won't be returning.

I've eaten at all the others also and our favorite is Narcoossee's.

We've probably dined there a half dozen or more times, and have always enjoyed it. From appetizers to entrees and desserts, it's all good.

We ate at all of them during our recent 2 week trip.

California Grill was dinner on July 4th DURING the fireworks. The service was incredible and so was the food. I was blown away by how attentive our server was and how much everyone enjoyed their meal, even with the circus LITERALLY around us. 5/5 stars, no question.

Toledo is an underrated wonder. Great food and wonderful service. We go at least twice a trip if we can.

Narcoosee's was good, not great Maybe an off night? Not sure.

Citrico's was very good, but not as good as the first two.

If you asked me before the trip which my favorite would be, never in a million years did I think CG would be it.

Citricos is excellent as is Narcoosees, but, for a first night dinner, I'm going to give Narcoossees a slight edge just for the view of MK and the fireworks. I wouldn't go all the way to CSR for dinner if you are staying at GF and I was less than impressed with the Cali Grill prix-fixe menu.

While 'Ohana would be more convenient for an EP day, Topolino's is SO good! I would go there.

I voted for Citrico. We've eaten at all four of these choices within the past 6 months (we're local) and all are really good.

I came close to picking Toledo when I voted. A very nice experience with a different menu and great views over the property at night.

I voted for Citrico's. It is one of our favorites on property and we go there every trip! The atmosphere and service are always top notch and the food is always great! If you like cocktails, get the Passion Fruit Margarita....it is soooo good!

We loved Toledo. The food is excellent, the variety of options really interesting, and their wine list is amazing. We strolled around the lake after dinner and had a nightcap at the lobby bar before going back to our hotel. It was a fabulous evening.

Used to love CaliGrill but not anymore, with the prix fixe. They used to have amazing, unique food options... not so much anymore.

Narcoossee's is very good but we don't find their menu very imaginative.
Haven't eaten at Citrico's, but it's on the list, highly recommended by close friends.

Honestly- look at the menus and decide what you like. You cannot go wrong with any or these.

I voted for Citrico's because it's consistently good...both in food and service. Since you're staying at the GF it would be easy enough to get there!

I don't like the prix fixe menu concept so that eliminated CA Grille which is a shame because I've always enjoyed dining there. Toledo is very good but it would take you a while to get there and therefore cuts into your already limited time for the trip.

Narcoossee's is way overrated, in my opinion.

Hi. Ate at both Citricos and Cali Grill this week, Citrcos was disappointing. ate there pre -Covid and loved it, our experience was sub-par. Wait staff super nice, food felt rushed and was just ok. Atmosphere not a signature. Cali Grill was amazing! Pre-fix is annoying but was so good, wait staff excellent and you can’t beat the view for fireworks.
