Which would you choose at Beach Club - dedicated 2BR or Lock off

Our traveling party is 7 - 4 adults, 3 kids (15 yo twin boys & 7 yo daughter). I have a 2Br dedicated booked at Beach club but could waitlist the lock-off. For us the bonus of the lock off is the extra bed (pull down for daughter) so that the kids don't have to share, but the draw back seem that then the boys would be on pull out beds. Is there a comfort issue with the pull outs?

Anything else between the two room types i should consider?

I am sure the likelyhood of a waitlist coming through for the lock off is slim to none. I am just lucky to have scored the 2Br for our April vacation.

As to comfort level of a bed versus pull-out couch, yes, the pull-outs are usually less comfortable than the regular beds, although Disney's pull-outs are better than the lousy, rod-and-spring-in-the-back ones you find at far too may hotels with pull-outs. I view it as an age issue. Those twin 15-year-olds will probably have no complaints with a pull-out. Stick older adults in them and you might get some mention of discomfort.

As to other room differences, the lock-off 2BRs have two entry doors, one to the 1BR and and one to the studio, where the dedicated has one entry door.. Also, the second bedroom in the lock-off is a studio with its own mini-kitchen area, while the second bedroom in the dedicated has a little more space due to the absence of that kitchen area and the absence of a a doorway area. And the lock-off has a two-door internal separation for the rooms, and when both are closed, one cannot go from the 1BR to the studio and vice-versa.

My son now in his 20s has had no issue with the pullouts. I on the other do, as an older adult, with hip and knee pain, I found them very uncomfortable. The 15 year old twins probably won't find them uncomfortable. Depending on how well they get along, there might be an issue with them having to sleep in the same bed, but there's another one in the living room. To be honest, my kid would have slept on the floor, if he had to, just to be at Disney.
