My DD and I are starting to plan my DGS 2nd birthday and 1st trip to see Mickey, He won't be 2 until Jan. 2017. DD and her DH want to make sure they have plenty of time to save for his 1st trip.

We are planning on 3 or 4 nights for his 1st trip. - I know DD wants the dinning plan, so that they have everything paid for up front. We are all Florida Residents, so this will help with the cost factor for them.

DH and I are talking seriously about becoming DVC owners so this would not even be something to worry about. We are doing our homework on this, but still just in the fact finding stage. But DD really wants to save for the trip, so we are going forward with planning as the DVC is not on the table.

There are pro's and con's to both options.

There would be 4 adults and my DGS - Also DD and I have stayed at AoA in the lion king family suite and we love to stay at POFQ and POR, so those would be our choice we are leaning toward.

So suggestions and any insight would be much appreciated.

Personally, I would never stay in an AoA suite with more than just my nuclear family--especially with a son in law! It's just too cozy. We'd go for 2 separate rooms.

For your group I would choose two moderate rooms. Aside from much nicer resorts for the adults (at his age DGS won't care where he sleeps).

Both couples should be able to sleep on queens and real beds. Privacy factor. Much quieter and more relaxing.

I stay at POP alot and love going over and walking around AoA .... but given your situation I would not hesitate to say POR/FQ.

Is anyone tall? My nuclear family had to skip the AoA because two members are over 6 feet tall and double beds are not practical.

If you really want AOA just get two Little mermaid rooms. Don't share for all the reasons already noted above. But POR is wonderful too.

Definitely second this. We stayed in the nemo suite but it was just hubby and me with the kids.
